Omana is dressed in the classic cream-colored saree with the elegant kasavu (gold thread) border, a symbol of Kerala’s understated beauty. Her look is completed with a pair of gold jimikis (bell-shaped earrings) and a kasumala (a necklace of gold coins), exuding quiet elegance. Strands of jasmine adorn the long hair that these women are proud of and admired for. Traditionally, sandal wood kuri (mark) is applied to the forehead after worship. Omana’s attire and demeanor are a graceful tribute to Kerala’s rich cultural heritage, blending elegance with tradition.
