Basanthi is dressed in the vibrant colors of Rajasthan, reflecting the region's lively spirit. Her ghagra choli (skirt and blouse) and odhni (veil) feature bold hues of red, yellow, green, and pink, creating a striking contrast against the desert's earthy brown tones. The odhini is used by married women to cover their heads as a sign of modesty and respect towards elders. While urban women often wear gold jewellery, rural traditions favour chunky silver and bead jewellery, adding a rustic charm to the ensemble. Basanthi’s attire beautifully captures the vivid culture and heritage of Rajasthan.
Wash Care instructions: To maintain their quality, follow these washing guidelines:
• Surface clean carefully with a damp cloth to remove dust or dirt.
• Air dry in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not machine wash or soak in water.
By following these instructions, the dolls will remain in excellent condition for years to come!
Note: We strive to maintain the authenticity and charm of each handmade fabric doll while embracing the uniqueness of handcrafted artistry. Subtle differences in colours, patterns, and accessories are part of the doll’s one-of-a-kind appeal.
